Stucco
Where Stucco Performance Comes First.
At Precision Development, our stucco systems are built with a deliberate focus on moisture management and long-term performance. We exceed minimum code requirements because improper moisture management—not stucco itself—is the leading cause of exterior failures. With deep experience in wall assemblies, we work alongside other trades to ensure the entire system is coordinated and the home performs as intended.
That performance begins with the Plain Drain 6mm rainscreen, paired with polyurethane sealants used throughout the entire stucco system—not just at windows and doors. Our architectural banding is constructed by furring the stucco system and using metal corner beads to maintain a continuous ¾” stucco thickness, resulting in details that are both durable and refined. While these measures may add upfront cost, they are intentionally chosen to protect the structure and extend the life of the exterior.
The same attention to detail extends into preconstruction, with clear, line-itemed proposals and pre-installation walkthroughs to verify proper flashing and coordination. Precision Development aims to be a partner you can rely on.

Integral Colors
Integral color stucco is a finish where the pigment is mixed directly into the material, creating a natural, timeless look that can lean traditional, contemporary, or anywhere in between. Popular options include sand finishes and smooth steel-troweled finishes (Santa Barbara finishes). Both cementitious and acrylic versions are available, each offering unique benefits in color consistency, texture, and long-term appearance.

Repairs
Contrary to popular belief, stucco is a durable, long-lasting exterior system capable of performing for decades when properly detailed and maintained. Like any building material, its greatest vulnerability is neglect. Just as a vehicle requires regular oil changes, stucco systems require ongoing care to perform as intended.
