Brick installations incorporate hot-dipped galvanized or stainless steel wall ties and fasteners, MTI wall opening weep holes, and Plain Drain dovetail mortar mesh to promote proper drainage and drying. Stone veneer follows the same philosophy, utilizing the same corrosion-resistant materials along with a Plain Drain 6mm rainscreen to create a true drainage plane behind the stone. While these methods often carry a higher upfront cost, they are intentionally selected to protect the structure and ensure lasting performance.
